Who we are

This privacy policy explains how VitalUP Marketing LLC (“VitalUP,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit vitalupmarketing.com (the “site”), contact us or book a call. It does not cover our pet publications (MyDogLikes, MyCatLikes and Animal Bliss), which have their own policies, or the websites we build and manage for clients.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details you enter in our forms, like your name, work email, phone number and company.
• Details about your business, such as your industry and what you need help with.
• Information you share when you book a call through Calendly, email us or talk with us.
• Information you provide if you become a client, under the terms of our agreement with you.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser details, such as browser type, operating system and screen size.
• Your IP address and approximate location (city or region, not your exact location).
• Pages you visit, links you click, how you arrived at the site and how long you stay.
• Information collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

Information from others

We may receive information from advertising and analytics partners, scheduling tools and publicly available business sources, for example to understand which ads or searches brought you to the site.

How we use information

• To respond to your questions and requests, and to schedule and hold calls.
• To prepare proposals and provide the services you ask for.
• To send you information you have asked for. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
• To understand how people use the site and improve it.
• To measure and improve our advertising.
• To protect the site and our business, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

• Service providers who help us run the site and our business, such as website hosting, form handling, email, scheduling (Calendly), analytics and customer management tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Advertising and analytics partners, namely Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta, through cookies and similar technologies on the site.
• Legal and safety reasons, when we believe sharing is required by law or needed to protect rights, property or safety.
• Business transfers, if VitalUP is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
• With your permission, or at your direction.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We and our partners use them to keep the site working, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used and measure our ads.

• Essential cookies keep the site secure and working.
• Analytics cookies, namely Google Analytics 4, help us understand traffic and improve the site.
• Advertising cookies and pixels, namely the Google Ads conversion tag and the Meta (Facebook) pixel, help us measure ads and show relevant ads on other sites.

On your first visit we ask before using analytics or advertising cookies, and you can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, adjust Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for marketing. Email hello@vitalupmarketing.com and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to know what we collect, to opt out of targeted advertising and to appeal a decision about your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

Information we handle for clients

When we provide marketing services to clients, we may work with information our clients control, such as website analytics, ad accounts or customer lists. We handle that information on our client's behalf and under our agreement with them. If you have a question about how a business we work with uses your information, please contact that business directly.

For healthcare clients, we do not access, collect or handle protected health information. We design our work to keep it out of advertising, analytics and marketing platforms.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, for example while we are talking with you or working together, and as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The site is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Visitors outside the United States

We are based in the United States, and we process and store information here. If you visit from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will provide notice on the site.
